Menzel Centennial is one of Lennox & Addington County's most well-kept secrets for nature lovers. Found just east of Roblin, Ontario, it's a 4.8 km path with an abundance of significant wetlands that makes for a visit well worth making.
You may not be aware, but Lennox & Addington County manages a number of forests in Addington Highlands. One spot in particular, found in Flinton, is a particularly beautiful place to go for a stroll.
A good starting point to start your journey is from the parking lot at the Addington Highlands Municipal Office. Find the blue sign to the east end of the lot by the outdoor rink. From there, enter the forest and enjoy an easy 2 km walk around the perimeter.
The autumn leaves are really popping right now in Lennox & Addington so now is the perfect time to tour our roads. We recently went for a scenic drive along some of the quiet country roads in the Township of Stone Mills. As you'll see below, the views were spectacular!
