Located in the village of Odessa, and a short hop from the 401, The Jiffy Grill is a fantastic spot to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner. From tasty omelettes to a variety of daily specials, sandwiches that hit the spot and so much more - you’ll find an array of classic dishes and new favourites at this quaint little diner. Don't forget to pick up a delicious butter tart (or three) for the ride home.

J&P's Family Restaurant

352 Main Street, Bath


J&P's Family Restaurant in Bath offers healthy and affordable fresh food. They have a large menu of dinner favorites with big portions. My go-to menu item when visiting is their toasted clubhouse on whole wheat with a Greek salad. Delicious.

The River Bakery & Café

11 Concession Street South, Tamworth


For, sensational sausage rolls, marvelous muffins, tantalizing tarts (and so much more) look no further than The River Bakery & Café in Tamworth. It’s easy to find, just look for the giant bagel on a pole on Concession Street South!
 
Within, you’ll find a quaint country café serving up a huge selection of life-altering good food and equally great coffee. I highly recommend the smoked jalapeno cheddar sausage rolls. Then again it’s likely better to suggest that you try one of everything.

Devon Café

Just down the street from The River Bakery is Tamworth’s Devon Café & Five Corners Craft. Don’t let the name confuse you - this adorable little restaurant is a local legend, preparing hearty and heartwarming meals that are quite literally, “just like mama used to make.”
 
The Devon Café prides themselves on their “small town prices with big city choices,” and they deliver in spades. The next time you’re cruising through Tamworth - make sure to stop for a delightful bite to eat!

Since 1878 this rustic and historic tavern has been a prominent element along Highway 41 in Erinsville. The Lakeview Tavern is everything you want from a vintage roadhouse style eatery, with all the intriguing history and decor that comes with it.

Ellena’s Café

One can’t walk through the doors of Ellena’s Café without being immediately tempted by the fantastic aroma of freshly baked treats, and healthy home style cooking. From soups and sandwiches to wraps, quiche and cupcakes, Ellena’s Café is an excellent spot for a sip or nibble in beautiful Downtown Napanee.

Itty Bitty Diner

Located within the Napanee Business Park is an adorable little diner that one Trip Advisor reviewer says is “not itty bitty in quality or size.” The aptly named Itty Bitty Diner is a great little gem serving up all your old-school diner favourites perfect for a tasty breakfast or lunch. Known for their tasty sandwiches, fluffy pancakes, soups and delectable desserts - the Itty Bitty Diner certainly belongs on your list!

Loaf n’ Ale

25 Dundas Street East, Napanee


Those seeking of a proper British pub experience need not look any further than The Loaf & Ale in Downtown Napanee. The pub is only steps away from shopping and public park spaces for an after dinner stroll. The L&A’s menu is jam-packed with tasty pub grub including delicious shareables, burgers and sandwiches as well as an epic selection of entrees to choose from.
 
To compliment your meal, The Loaf n’ Ale also has a great selection of beverage choices from local craft beer to wine and cocktails. It’s also a great spot to catch some local music with regularly scheduled live entertainment.

The Royal Coachman

8087 County Road 2, Napanee


For a more refined and vintage-inspired dining experience, The Royal Coachman is a fantastic venue located on County Road 2 just east of Downtown Napanee. The restaurant’s name is inspired by the history of the building, which once served as a stagecoach shop during the 19th Century. This immaculately decorated dining room is a beautiful throwback to a classical era in hospitality and service.
 
The menu features a tempting variety of appetizers, as well as a fine assortment of salads, wraps and sandwiches for lunch. For dinner, you’ll enjoy an assortment of gourmet choices including their famous Chicken (or beef) Wellington (my personal favourites), as well as steaks, pasta dishes and more.
 
The Coachman is also famous for their all-you-can-eat seafood buffets which have become something of a tradition for residents and out-of-towners alike. They happen the first and last Fridays and Saturdays of every month.

Tammy’s Country Kitchen

Sometimes, it’s good to go back to the basics. The cult classic, down-home cookin’ style dishes that put diners and breakfast bars on the map. At Tammy’s Country Kitchen, you’ll find a menu of tasty and nostalgic choices ranging from steak n’ eggs, pancakes, clubhouse sandwiches and beyond. Don’t even get me started on their desserts!

A favourite dining location for locals is Spud's Restaurant. This longtime fixture in Napanee offers a small town feel with traditional grub, including all-day breakfast and mouth watering daily specials, including turkey dinners every Friday.  If you've never taken a bite out of a KT Burger topped with a healthy dose of their world-famous secret sauce, you're really missing out!

When it comes to casual family dining in Addington Highlands, there’s one name that resonates with both locals and travellers alike. Addison’s Restaurant in Northbrook is a wonderful eatery owned and operated by Melissa Evans and her son Addison. Melissa is a 30+ year veteran in the culinary arts and food service industries - and her penchant for cooking runs in the family!
 
Fantastic food in a great family-friendly atmosphere is the claim to fame for Addison’s with new specials every day, in addition to an excellent menu including dishes like Chicken Florentine, Roast Turkey, and Chicken Parmesan to name but a few.
