The public is advised that County of Lennox and Addington By-Law No. 2697/98 regulates and requires the removal of items obstructing, encumbering, injuring or fouling County roads and bridges. The parking of vehicles, depositing of snow and discharging of sumps on County roads and bridges during winter months are examples of actions prohibited under this by-law. Section 181 of the Highway Traffic Act further prohibits the deposit of snow and ice on a roadway.

Please be advised that commencing on Monday November 23, 2020 Ben Hokum’s Logging will begin logging operations on County Forests on Upper Flinton Road (See attached map). This work is expected to be completed in approximately 3 weeks. We would recommend that residents avoid using this area of the forest while logging operations are ongoing.

On October 28, 2020, the Council of the County of Lennox & Addington passed a By-law to declare a County-owned property surplus to the County’s needs.
The property is described as Lot 29, RP 302, 215 First Avenue, Town of Greater Napanee, The property has been identified for disposal as part of the Local Housing Corporation’s social housing revitalization plan.
