The County of Lennox and Addington and the Township of Stone Mills will be resurfacing County Road 4 from Ball Park Drive to the bridge on Ottawa Street as well as County Road 15 from the intersection of County Road 4 to Jones Street in 2018. The proposed works include the replacement of various storm sewers and structures, and the reinstatement of the roadway surface.

Notice of Public Information Centre for the Reconstruction of Dundas Street from Centre Street to Adelphi Street
The County of Lennox and Addington and the Town of Greater Napanee will be reconstructing Dundas Street from Centre Street to Adelphi Street in 2018. The proposed works include the replacement of sanitary sewers, watermains, storm sewers, reinstatement of the roadway surface and sidewalks.

This notice is to advise you of a significant number of oversize loads that will be transported via trucks through Lennox & Addington County on route to Amherst Island. In total there will be approximately 260 oversize loads between now and the Spring of 2018. While these loads will not require the temporary closure of any County roads there may be some minor traffic delays typically encountered at intersections while the loads negotiate their turns. We will keep you updated if the schedule changes and will circulate the schedule for 2018 moves when it becomes available.

The public is advised that County of Lennox and Addington By-Law No. 2697/98 regulates and requires the removal of items obstructing, encumbering, injuring or fouling County roads and bridges. The parking of vehicles, depositing of snow and discharging of sumps on County roads and bridges during winter months are examples of actions prohibited under this by-law. Section 181 of the Highway Traffic Act further prohibits the deposit of snow and ice on a roadway.
