It will be impossible to 'mask' your enthusiasm on February 3rd. Museum Kids presents a fun mask-making workshop with designer Clelia Scala beginning at 10am.
Clelia was previously at the Museum in December for a popular Finger Puppet edition of Museum Kids, and will undoubtedly impress again when she returns for this fun mask workshop. Clelia makes masks for theatre and film and has taught mask-making and puppet-making to groups of five to twenty-five people in classroom and workshop settings. Her masks have appeared on stages in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
A few years ago, Book Riot, one of the most popular websites for book lovers, came up with the idea of encouraging its followers to supplement their upcoming year of reading with a challenge that would get them to “read harder.” Thus began the annual Book Riot Read Harder Challenge.
Andrée Duval, Relief Librarian for the County of Lennox & Addington Libraries, recently reviewed Heart of the City by Robert Rotenberg, the fifth outing for Detective Ari Greene.
The County of Lennox and Addington Public Libraries are proud to support the community’s culture and talent. It is for this reason that we have started the “Art in the Library” program in partnership with the Greater Napanee Area Arts Association (GNAAA). A prominent feature wall was created at the Napanee Branch specifically for this program where artists can display their work.

To celebrate Family Literacy Day, please join us for a fun and interactive weekend storytime at 10:30am in our Amherstview, Napanee or Yarker Branches.
Every year on January 27, ABC Life Literacy Canada hosts Family Literacy Day, the largest national family literacy event in Canada. Literacy organizations, schools, libraries and media groups will coordinate numerous literacy-themed events and activities across the country in honour of this special initiative.
The Township of Stone Mills arranged to have new flooring installed in the Community Hall portion of the Library.
Both sides of the library have now reopened with regular hours.
