The County of Lennox & Addington plays a role in the maintenance of law and order in the county community. Part of this responsibility is the administration of Provincial Offences for enforcement contrary to the Highway Traffic Act, Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act, Liquor License Act and Trespass to Property Act and offences under municipal bylaws and minor federal offences.

Here’s what the County does:

  • Processing and prosecuting charges*
  • Collection of fines
  • Enforcement of Unpaid Fines
  • Scheduling of trial matters

If you have requested early resolution, you will be contacted to schedule a time to discuss your case with the prosecutor, by telephone.  Early Resolution matters for the County of Lennox & Addington are being conducted remotely.  You will be notified by email of the date, time and audio-conferencing details.
