Diggin' Downtown Napanee

Len Corcoran Excavating Ltd. (LCE) crews are currently working on completing the underground services on Diggin' Downtown Napanee within the Centre Street to Robert Street block. Dundas Street is currently closed from Centre Street to West Street.

Starting on Friday June 2, 2017, the road closure will be extended one block further west to Robinson Street. Works will then be starting at the intersection of Dundas St and West St and progressing to the east.

LOCAL TRAFFIC (not thru traffic) can by-pass the barricades to enter all LOCAL TRAFFIC / NO EXIT blocks in the area.  Access to the 2 blocks under construction will be provided to Emergency Service Providers and pedestrians. Residents and Businesses within the 2 blocks under construction will be kept advised of access availability.

Ongoing notices will be given to advise of future block closures as work progresses.

Note that Dundas Street will be under construction into the Fall of 2017. Construction is commencing in this first block and generally progressing to the west to Robinson Street. Ongoing notices will be provided to advise you of future closures.

Bridge Street, Napanee

Beginning on Thursday, April 27th construction resumes on Bridge Street in Napanee. While the majority of the remaining work is in the area from Centre Street to Belleville Road, other minor works will be taking place east of Centre Street to Alma Avenue. Crews will be completing all unfinished work including concrete sidewalks, grass boulevards, driveway restoration, line painting, etc.

For the next several weeks there will be intermittent single lane closures controlled by flag persons. You should expect some traffic delays in this area while this work is being completed.
