The Town of Greater Napanee and the County of Lennox and Addington has started a reconstruction of Dundas Street between Hessford Street and Adelphi Street. The three-year project will update infrastructure and will beautify our historic street.

Notice of Public Information Centre
for the Reconstruction of Dundas Street from Centre Street to Adelphi Street
The County of Lennox and Addington and the Town of Greater Napanee propose to reconstruct Dundas Street from Centre Street to Adelphi Street in 2018. The proposed work includes replacement of Sanitary Sewers, Watermains, Storm Sewers, reinstatement of the Roadway Surface and Sidewalks.
A Public Information Centre regarding this project has been scheduled on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The Public Information Centre will be a drop-in format where plans of the proposed reconstruction will be on display. County and Town staff and the Consultant will be present to answer any questions.

Len Corcoran Excavating Ltd. (LCE) crews are currently working on completing the underground services on Diggin' Downtown Napanee within the Centre Street to Robert Street block. Dundas Street is currently closed from Centre Street to West Street.
As of Friday, July 14th Centre Street has been re-opened to traffic. Please note that the intersection of Centre Street at Dundas Street will continue to operate under temporary ALL-WAY STOP CONTROL. Proceed with caution and watch for pedestrians.
Dundas Street from Centre Street to West Street remains CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC. Beginning on Monday, July 24th Dundas Street from West Street to Robinson Street will also be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC.
The following intersections continue to be CLOSED TO TRAFFIC: Dundas at Robert, Dundas at West. These closures will be in effect until further notice. LOCAL TRAFFIC (not thru traffic) can by-pass the barricades to enter all LOCAL TRAFFIC / NO EXIT blocks in the area.

Lennox & Addington County will be offering support to businesses in the downtown during the reconstruction project.
Communications will be key to a successful project. Our goal is to ensure that all BIA members feel connected and involved during construction. The County of Lennox and Addington will be leading construction communications. BIA Members and the public will be kept up to date through a website portal, social media, e-blasts and newsletters.
