TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests, and all abilities. This free program is co-created and delivered by 2,000 public libraries across Canada.  It celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators and stories. It’s designed to inspire kids to explore the fun of reading their way – the key to building a lifelong love of reading.

Click here to see our entire Spring/Summer 2018 programming lineup. You do not need to register for TD Summer Reading Club to attend our summer events...but we certainly encourage it! Stop by your branch of the library at any point during the summer to sign up.

Step 1: Sign up at any library branch starting June 23.

Step 2: Get a kit, including a notebook and web access code to keep track of books your child reads.

Step 3: Read for fun! Participants who read eight or more books will get a prize and special invitation to the TD Summer Reading Club wrap up party.

Step 4: Come back to the library so your child can tell us about his or her reading, earn stickers and get more great reading recommendations from library staff. While you're there, check out some of the fun programs and events we offer too!
