TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests, and all abilities. This free program is co-created and delivered by 2,000 public libraries across Canada.  It celebrates Canadian authors, illustrators and stories. It’s designed to inspire kids to explore the fun of reading their way – the key to building a lifelong love of reading.

Update: The TD Summer Reading Club is wrapping up for 2017! Thanks to everyone who participated. If you have successfully completed you challenge, please remember to attend our end of summer reading parties at Yarker (August 21st, 6:00pm), Napanee (August 23, 10:30am) or Amherstview (August 25th, 3:00pm).

Step 1: Sign up at any library branch starting June 17.

Step 2: Get a kit, including a notebook and web access code to keep track of books your child reads. To the left is the 2016 Club kit.

Step 3: Read for fun! Participants who read eight or more books will get a prize and special invitation to the TD Summer Reading Club wrap up party.

Step 4: Come back to the library so your child can tell us about his or her reading, earn stickers and get more great reading recommendations from library staff. While you're there, check out some of the fun programs and events we offer too!
