January 17, 2022 - as of 2:00 pm today, the winter storm warning continues through this evening. Snow, still possible heavy at times, with total snowfall amounts of 25 to 40 cm. Local blowing snow due to wind gusts of up to 60km/h which will significant reduce visibilities.
Crews continue to maintain County roads in an effort to keep all roads clear and passable. Visibility and road conditions within the County vary from fair to poor at times. Motorists are encouraged to remain off the roads and drive only if necessary, with extreme caution. Also, sidewalks normally maintained may be snow and ice covered. Pedestrians are encouraged to be mindful of these conditions while walking.
