If you can’t come to the library, many library systems (including the County of Lennox & Addington Libraries) can come to you!
Our ‘Books by Mail’ service was created to serve our homebound users. Library staff are connected to the pulse of your community’s reading interests, so it can be uplifting to talk to a member of our team about what is popular right now. We can either send you books by request or we can choose books we think you will enjoy. All materials are sent through Canada Post with return postage. This service is intended for patrons who have limited mobility, illness, unreliable transportation or who are temporarily homebound. In other words, if you can't physically make it to one of our library branches, we can work with you to keep you well supplied with library materials for as long as necessary.
Alternatively, through the Among Friends program, volunteers from Seniors Outreach Services (SOS) delivers library books to the Town of Greater Napanee patrons who cannot travel to the library.
