Lennox and Addington County owns and manages forest properties covering 466 hectares (1,150 acres) on five tracts of land within the Township of Addington Highlands.  A Forest Management Plan was developed in 2002 which sets out the forest management activities for a 20 year period. 

Each year an Annual Work Report is prepared to track the progress of the Forest Management Plan. The 2003-2022 Forest Management Plan for the LACF includes sequential 5-year Operating Plans that guide the forest management activities for the specified period. The current Operating Plan covers the period 2019-2023. A new Forest Management Plan 2023-2032 is being prepared.
