Museum BoxMuseum Box: A Quest for Discovery

Captain Curator needs students help to protect our local history.

Professor Sticky Fingers is spending a lot of time at the museum learning about our artifacts, but has left his sticky finger prints everywhere. Through a game of eye spy, students will learn about some our local history, protect our museum from the Professor’s messy hands and become local super heroes.

The Museum Box program introduces students to our museum and the idea of collecting. Students will collect pictures of artifacts through an exploration game within the museum. After the hunt, students will visit discovery tables and unlock the artifacts special secrets.

A multi-media presentation will introduce students to the important uses of symbology in our history and it’s continued use in today’s mobile devices.

Students will be transformed into superheroes and will be asked to help Captain Curator to protect our museum artifacts from the pesky Professor Sticky Fingers. During the quest, teams will have to break the symbolled clues and solve the riddles in order to find the menacing Professor’s sneaky hiding spot, save our artifacts and protect our history.
