On July 6th at 10:30, the Queen’s University Biology Station will be here discussing the current research on the decreasing bird population, specifically on their Tree Swallow project. Presenters will also be doing a demonstration of mist netting and bird banding using a dummy bird. For those who are interested in getting involved in community volunteer opportunities, the Queen’s University Biology Station will also be introducing citizen projects currently available in our area. After the talk we welcome you to enjoy our summer traveling exhibit, Our Feathered Friends, currently on display from the Canadian Museum of Nature. This is a free event held at the L&A County Museum, and registration is not required.
