You’re invited to a great night of music at the Lennox and Addington County Museum in Napanee. On Thursday, March 26th at 7pm, join The Eastern Smoke for a performance Live at the Museum.
Drawing on the traditions of home and homelands, The Eastern Smoke is a new musical venture for three friends. With diverse backgrounds ranging from pipe bands to pop the trio is focusing in on their celtic foundations and the Canadian folk traditions that followed. The group flows between original songs, fiddle tunes and traditional ballads, trying to unearth the roots that tie it all together. Music with its feet firmly on the ground, at least until it’s time to dance.
Hailing from Kingston, Eastern Smoke is a Celtic Group comprised of 8 band members who have been performing together since 2009 and put on a great night of Celtic Music. The musicians play an array of instruments including the fiddle, accordion, mandolin and banjo to keep guests dancing or clapping along.
'Live at the Museum' is proudly presented by the County of Lennox & Addington. Tickets are $3 each and are available at the door. Find out more at www.CountyMuseum.ca or call 613-354-3027.
