Local Newspapers

Current subscriptions to local newspapers include the Napanee Guide and the Napanee Beaver, available on microfilm and print formats. Local area papers including the Napanee Standard and the Napanee Express, starting in the early 1800s are available on microfilm.


Genealogical Resources

Family genealogies, birth/marriage/death indices from local newspapers and the Archives of Ontario vital statistic microfilm reel indices, census records for our county (1851-1911), cemetery transcriptions (see CemSearch in our Links section), Crown land grant index, published genealogical sources, and the full run of The Christian Guardian on microfilm.


Municipal Records

The Archives acquires and preserves records from L&A County and its township records including assessment roles, voter’s lists, minutes, and other early records from the 19th century - present.
