Outreach services can match library staff or volunteers with patrons who have limited mobility, illness, unreliable transportation, or are temporarily homebound.

Among Friends

Volunteers from Seniors Outreach Services (SOS) delivers library books to the Town of Greater Napanee patrons who cannot travel to the library.  For more information on “Among Friends” SOS library book delivery, contact the Napanee Branch at 613.354.2525.

Books by Mail

Our ‘Books by Mail’ service was created to serve our homebound users. Library staff are connected to the pulse of your community’s reading interests, so it can be uplifting to talk to a member of our team about what is popular right now. We can either send you books by request or we can choose books we think you will enjoy. All materials are sent through Canada Post with return postage. For more information on “Books by Mail” contact Julie Wendland, Readers’ Services Coordinator at 613.354.4883 ex. 3371.
