Spark Box Studios will be on hand at the Lennox & Addington County Museum & Archives to teach the art of Pysanky on Saturday, March 3rd from 1:30 - 3:30pm. This is the first in a new series of Heritage Arts Workshops happening at the museum, located at 97 Thomas Street East in Napanee.

Participants in the workshop will learn how to make beautiful Pysanky, which are Easter eggs in the traditional Ukrainian style. Experienced instructors will guide those in attendance through all the steps of transforming a plain egg into a work of art. There will also be plenty of helpers on hand to provide tips and extra support. All materials will be provided (eggs, stylus, dyes, wax, etc.). Additional materials and kits will be on sale to take home.

The cost is $35 per person and pre-registration is required by calling 613-354-3027 or by visiting the museum in person. Beginners are welcome. Please note that this workshop is intended for people ages 14+ (not geared towards children). Other workshops in the Heritage Arts Workshops include:
