The County of Lennox & Addington and its Lower Tier Municipalities (Loyalist Township and the Township of Addington Highlands) have engaged the services of Wagar & Corput Weed Control Inc. for the application of herbicide to control vegetation at all guiderail locations, and to control noxious weeds along the municipally owned right of ways. This pesticide use falls under Public Works Exception of the Cosmetics Pesticides Ban for the promotion of public health or safety.

On October 28, 2020, the Council of the County of Lennox & Addington passed a By-law to declare a County-owned property surplus to the County’s needs.
The property is described as Lot 29, RP 302, 215 First Avenue, Town of Greater Napanee, The property has been identified for disposal as part of the Local Housing Corporation’s social housing revitalization plan.

The public is reminded that any construction, paving or other alteration to driveways that is proposed for that portion of the driveway that is within the limits of any County Road road allowance is subject to By-law No. 2572/95, as amended, "A By-law to Regulate the Location, Construction and Use of Entrances Onto County Roads".
