TD Summer Reading Club 2021

The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, interests and abilities. Starting June 15th, kids can register for the club to track their reading throughout the summer, participate in challenges and programs, and win tons of prizes. 

There’s something for everyone, including kids with print disabilities, and preschoolers and their families. Learn more about the club here.

May 4, 2021 - On Tuesday, 59 heads of Council from across eastern Ontario gathered for a virtual meeting and voiced overwhelming support for the Eastern Ontario Regional Network (EORN) Gig Project, which aims to connect homes and businesses across the region with ultra-fast internet speeds.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE: County Rd 6 at CN Rail Crossing– Loyalist Township

Please be advised that County Rd 6 in Loyalist Township will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC at the CN Rail crossing (just north of Taylor Kidd Blvd) for track & crossing repairs. This road closure is scheduled to commence on Tuesday May 11th at 7:00am and is scheduled to re-open at approximately 5:00pm on Thursday May 13th.  Traffic WILL NOT be able to cross the tracks during this closure period.  In the event that works are completed earlier than scheduled the road will be re-opened.

When Bridgerton was released on Netflix last Christmas, I don't think any of us were prepared for the sudden obsession with steamy regency romance it inspired in so many fans. Julia Quinn's Bridgeton series has been a historical romance mainstay since the release of The Duke and I in 2000, but never has Quinn been more popular than she is currently.

Notice of Construction: County Road 41 and County Road 2

Please be advised that Kiley Paving will be commencing culvert replacements on County Road 41 from County Road 11 to County Road 12. Additional culvert replacements will be occurring on County Road 2, from Richmond Park Drive to approximately 3.3km west of Napanee. The work is scheduled to start April 26, 2021 and is scheduled to be completed by approximately June 25, 2021.

This work will typically consist of culvert replacements and some minor ditching.
