Patricia recently read and enjoyed Honey and Leonard by Marc Paul Smith, a charming novel about a senior couple whose love conquers all. Here is her review:

"Thanks to a book suggestion by my father-in-law, I found a new book to enjoy. Honey and Leonard by Marc Paul Smith is a charming story that will have readers eager to see if love will prevail for an over-the-moon in love couple. Leonard and Honey met at a dance, fell in love and will stop at nothing to stay together. They are now in their seventies and Leonard’s niece and sole heir has filed a petition for guardianship, forcing Leonard into a nursing home. Then a no contact order is served to Honey as suspicions of arsenic poisoning come to light. Stopping at nothing for his Honey, Leonard breaks out of his nursing home and the couple set off on an adventure that delights people all over the world. Their story spreads love, forgiveness and faith in the goodness of others. Readers who have enjoyed The Storied Life of A.J Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin, A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman, Flee, Fly, Flown by Janet Hepburn or The Story of Arthur Truluv by Elizabeth Berg may also enjoy the adventures of Honey and Leonard."
