The L&A County Museum & Archives is partnering with the L&A County Libraries to bring you a special Tuesday Night at the Museum on November 21st at 7pm. The evening will feature Lawrence Scanlan, a journalist and author of six bestselling books, including Little Horse of Iron and The Year of Living Generously.

His latest book, They Desire A Better CountryThe Order of Canada in 50 Stories, was commissioned by the Governor General to coincide with Canada’s 150th. It highlights some of the remarkable individuals who have received the prestigious Order of Canada. Join us in celebrating the achievements and hearing the stories of these fascinating Canadians.
