Ron Tasker will discuss the restoration of the Ham House (1817), Bath, as it connects to the built heritage of early Ontario. He will also present finds made in the building and explore how they relate to individuals and significant local and world events.

Ron Tasker is an engineer who grew up in Toronto, and became acquainted with Southeastern Ontario while earning a master of science in Applied Physics from Queen's University. Currently a director of the Frontenac Heritage Foundation, both he and his wife Bonnie have a passion for built heritage. After moving back to Kingston in 2010, they acquired the Ham House at the intersection of Church and Main Streets in Bath. With the help of a few volunteers, they have restored the house to its original 1817 character.
