Hop on your bike and enjoy the 2019 Discover L&A Ride! This 58-kilometre journey takes you along paved roads that overlook the water's edge and authentic rural Eastern Ontario landscapes. Rest stops are at fascinating historic sites, beautiful parks, and award-winning wineries for a day of cycling you won't soon forget.
Not your ordinary, every day ride.
It's not just about the cycling - which is great, by the way. The Discover L&A Ride is about the experience.
It's a 58 kilometre tour of Lennox & Addington where you're encouraged to enjoy the picturesque rural countryside, relax at the rest stops, and learn the history of our county. It's a chance to meet other cyclists while sampling carefully crafted beverages and listening to live local music.
It's called the Discover Ride because we want you to discover.
Food & drink aplenty on the ride
Great cycling AND amazing treats! Riders will enjoy delicious treats at each rest stop, including ice cream topped with local ingredients from Seasons Fine Foods and world-famous apple cider donuts from Spring Meadow Orchards. Bergeron Estate Winery is serving delicious slices of "Nonna's Pizza" ($).
After the ride, participants have a great choice of food & beverages: Soup Chef Food Truck , MacKinnon Brothers Brewing Company, The Hard Way Cider Company, and new for 2019, Rocky Mountain Smoothie Co. (non-alcoholic option).
