‘Harry’s Story’ is a new documentary about Flinton, Ontario resident Harry Andringa. Harry was nine years old when Hitler’s Nazis invaded the Netherlands. Harry’s family risked their own lives by hiding Jews from the Nazis, saving them from the death camps. The memories of 1940-45 are still vivid in Harry’s mind as he tells about living under Nazi brutality. In the past, Harry visited local schools for Remembrance Day services to share his story to students. Now his memories live on in this documentary which will be available free on YouTube.

The Lennox & Addington County Museum & Archives in Napanee is hosting a screening on Saturday, November 25th at 2pm. Admission is $3.  More information and a trailer video can be seen at www.harrysstory.ca

The documentary was produced by Ken and Cathy Hook in 4K resolution.
