The 25th Annual Newburgh Canal Bash and 3rd Annual Newburgh IP/Tyke and Novice Pond Hockey Tournament is coming up on February 17th.

There are plenty of fun activities going on throughout the day including free horse drawn wagon rides, free hot chocolate, free firework display, free skating on the canal, and a free huge bonfire. There will also be all you can eat chili and hot dogs for $5 and the Newburgh Fire Department’s world famous Canal Tails and French Fries will be available.

This pond hockey tournament is a great opportunity for everyone to get together with a friends and teammates to find out how you stack up against the competition in an outdoor hockey tournament on the Newburgh Canal. With a registration fee of approximately $20 per team, it is a great opportunity to be part of a Winter Carnival that has been bringing families together for 25 winters. If you're interested in submitting a team, please contact Matthew at mmthompson@live.ca.
