Great news! Saturday evening's "Milky Way Stargazing Tour" will proceed as scheduled!!! PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH ANYONE THAT YOU THINK MAY BE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING.
According to several weather websites, it is supposed to be clear all night. We know that conditions can change, but we're quite confident that it will be good to go for the event.
View the night sky the way it was meant to be seen at the Lennox & Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area. Hosted by Joe Gilker from Dark Arts Astrophotography, you'll receive a fun and informative laser-guided tour of the sky. With the assistance of Tim Trentadue, attendees will get an up-close look at seasonal celestial objects through some high-powered telescopes.
Admission is free! The fun starts about an hour after dusk on Friday and Saturday evening (weather permitting). For updated viewing conditions and more information please visit www.DarkSkyViewing.com.
