With time on my hands and paint at the ready I thought I’d explore my creative side. Having done various art classes at The Gibbard District I was immediately inspired. My journey began with Paint Pouring, then went into a Whimsical Doodle style of painting. I found that I was really drawn to the Mid-Century look, that 50’s/60’s vibe.

Now spending so much time at home and having 3 cats with very different personalities it was this that I wanted to express with my art. Hence, The Groovy Cats series was born. I have found painting, creating, and being thoughtful of the process to be the perfect distraction during these exceptional times.
