The John M. Parrott Centre is very pleased to report that the results of our Accreditation survey visit in June have been received as noted above.

The surveyors were very impressed with the home in many ways:

Parrott Centre is a beautiful home that has captured the flavor of the local community.  The home design and space is well thought out to be both functional and efficient.  Attractive common areas and outdoor spaces support resident and family comfort.  County Council has shown a strong level of commitment both financially and operationally to the home, as evidenced in physical space design.”

Accreditation is one of the best and most effective measures that organizations can use to accurately assess their performance against a national set of standards set by Accreditation Canada.  Accreditation is a voluntary process and The John M. Parrott Centre is proud to be counted among the organizations who participate in this pursuit of excellence.

Over the next three years, the Accreditation Canada Quality Performance Roadmap will be utilitzed to document and track any improvement efforts.  The standards, instruments and indicators will be used to guide ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
