Southern Lennox & Addington County is officially regarded as a Designated Viticultural Area and our wine growers are proud members of the Prince Edward County Wine Growers Association.  We are excited to have two award-winning wineries operating within the borders of L&A County. Below are some details on each.

Bergeron Estate Winery & Cider Company

Bergeron Estate Winery has the distinction of being the first winery to be open for business in L&A County. After a six-year process, Bergeron Estate Winery has been open to the public and has been selling its wine since 2007. Bergeron Estate produces Gamay Noir, Pinot Noir, Vidal, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and a Rosé from wines that are made exclusively from grapes grown on their 10-acre vineyard. As well, they produce a delicious cider made from apples from a local orchard. Bergeron Estate Winery & Cider Company also features "Nona's Pizza", with crust made from scratch and topped with local ingredients.

Thirty Three Vines

Thirty Three Vines is a boutique vineyard and winery located within the boundaries of Ontario's newest wine regions - Prince Edward County. Their site is also located on the historic Loyalist Parkway, 10 kms east of the Glenora Ferry in Adolphustown.  Thirty Three Vines has been producing ultra premium red and white wines from 10 acres of vinifera grapevines since 2007. Varieties include Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. The wines display all of the wonderful characteristics of their location. The limestone and clay-based loamy soils provide crisp acidity, minerality and delicate flavours of fruit.
