Lennox & Addington County is home to a large number of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities that have the ability to satisfy the needs of your sporting event.
L&A's premier indoor sports facility is the Strathcona Paper Centre (SPC), which has effectively put L&A on the map in the sport tourism industry. Since opening in 2004, the 93,000 square foot twin-pad facility has hosted dozens of large regional minor hockey, figure skating and broomball tournaments. On a larger scale, Hockey Canada's National Women's Under-18 Championship was held at the SPC in 2008 and in 2010 the facility was converted into a 5-sheet curling rink and successfully hosted the Ontario Men's Curling Championship.
