The John M. Parrott Centre Long-Term Care Accountability Planning Submission (LAPS)
Background The John M. Parrott Centre is a fully accredited, 168 bed, long term care facility, owned and operated by the County of Lennox and Addington. In April 2007, the Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) assumed full responsibility for planning, funding and integrating health services. The South East LHIN first began this process by negotiating service accountability agreements with health service providers funded by the LHIN including hospitals, community support services, and community health centers. It is time for The John M. Parrott Centre to negotiate and sign their next 3-Year Accountability Agreement with the SE LHIN. The L-SAA will replace the current service agreement and will cover a three year term of April 1, 2013 to March 31, 2016.
