The County of Lennox and Addington's Adopt-A-Highway Program is a public service program providing an opportunity for volunteers to enhance local litter collection activities by collecting litter along County road allowances. The program allows environmentally conscious citizens to make a personal contribution to a cleaner and more beautiful environment.

Under the program, groups or an individual agree to adopt a section of County road allowance and collect litter. A sign will be erected by the County to acknowledge the volunteer's efforts.
