Southern Lennox & Addington County is officially regarded as a Designated Viticultural Area and our wine growers are proud members of the Prince Edward County Wine Growers Association.  We are excited to say that two wineries are now operating within L&A’s borders. Below are some details on each.

Bergeron Estate Winery

Bergeron Estate Winery has the distinction of being the first winery to be open for business in L&A. After a six-year process, Bergeron Estate Winery has been open to the public and selling its wine since 2007. Bergeron Estate produces two red (Gamay Noir & Pinot Noir) and two white (Vidal & Riesling/Gewürztraminer) from wines that are made exclusively from grapes grown on their 10-acre vineyard. Bergeron Estate Winery will be open to visitors on a full-time basis. Tours are available by appointment. For details, please contact:

Thirty Three Vines

Lennox & Addington is excited to announce that Thirty Three Vines is open for business.  Thirty Three Vines produces premium red and white wines from 10 acres of vinifera grapevines, including: Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot.  Wines produced at Thirty Three Vines show wonderful characteristics of our cool climate location, from the limestone and clay based loamy soils to the fresh water inlet breezes from Lake Ontario.
