Library Service Review

In 2015 Council developed nine strategic priorities for the term of Council. Council determined that a study of the current library service delivery model was required.  As a result of this direction a review was initiated in January 2016. The review was recently completed by the St. Clement’s Group and is a culmination of ten months of analysis and consultation. The consulting team gathered information and data by consulting with County Council, staff, lower tier municipalities and other library systems to develop their recommendations.

The County of Lennox & Addington, in conjunction with the Limestone District School Board, has installed a new Pedestrian Crossover to improve safety for pedestrians crossing County Road 8 in the Town of Greater Napanee. It is located just north of Southview Public School on County Road 8 at James Street. At this Pedestrian Crossover drivers and cyclists are required by law to stop for pedestrians and wait until they have completely crossed the road before they can proceed.
