The Lennox & Addington County Library has a circulating collection of approximately 100,000 titles. This includes hard cover books, paperbacks, audiobooks and a variety of multimedia materials.

Accessible Library Materials
In accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarian`s With Disabilities Act, all County of Lennox & Addington Public Libraries are pleased to provide accessible versions of materials in our collections, upon request, when they exist. 

Fiction
The collection includes many genres such as science fiction, mystery, historical fiction, romance, western and more. The library includes a comprehensive collection of works by Canadian authors, as well as writers from around the world.

Non Fiction
The County Library's Non Fiction collection covers a wide range of subject material for informational, recreational, research and educational needs and interests. On the library shelves you will find biographies, cookbooks, automotive repair manuals, sports books, travel guides, medical texts, business volumes, self-help books, arts and crafts, decorating and gardening books and many other categories. 

Leased Books
Leased books help the library to provide readers with the most recently published popular reads. This enables Information Services to add multiple copies of titles to the collection.

On-Line Databases
Electronic databases are a popular on-line resource for many library users. The use of this service is free, and patrons can register at the circulation desk to use one of the several public access computers in any of the branch libraries. Or they can access all but 2 databases remotely with a valid library card and pin number. If you cannot  remember your pin or have not obtained one please visit your local branch library.

Reference Collection
The general reference collection is for in-library use only and includes a large selection of junior and adult materials as well as on-line access to most government documents. Some copies of bound government documents are kept in the reference section.

Periodicals and Newspapers
Collections of periodicals (circulating) and newspapers (in library use only) are available for recreation and information. Click for a complete listing of periodicals and newspapers available. Also available are various periodicals online.

Large Print Books
Numerous collection titles are available in the areas of fiction and non-fiction in large print books format. Although large print books assist the visually impaired they are available to all library patrons.

Audio/Visual
Library patrons have large collections of DVD's, Music, Audio Books and VHS tapes to choose from for adults and children. The DVD/VHS collection features both entertainment movies and a wide variety of reference videos for all ages.

Foreign Language Books
Patrons have access to a variety of French and Dutch junior and adult books. Other languages may be ordered through inter-library loan. 

Local History Collection / Genealogy
The Lennox & Addington library has a small local history collection and some introductory genealogical information. A comprehensive local history collection and genealogical material is vailable at the Lennox & Addington County Museum and Archives.
