Borrowing
Any member of the public holding a valid Lennox and Addington County Information Services Card may borrow circulating books and library materials from any branch of the Lennox and Addington County Public Library for the specified circulation period. Library users must present their library card at the circulation desk in order to borrow library materials.

Reciprical Borrowing Agreement
Lennox & Addington has a reciprocal borrowing agreement with Prince Edward County Library. Show your Lennox and Addington County Library Card and you can receive a free Prince Edward County Library Card at any Prince Edward County Public Library.
Holds / Reserves
Placing a hold on an item within the County Library system is a popular way for patrons to reserve their required library materials. Holds may be placed at the circulation desk, over the phone or may be placed online using our electronic database if you find that an item is unavailable at the branch.
Inter Branch and Inter Library Loans (ILL)
Materials not located in your local community library branch may be obtained through our inter-branch and inter library loan services. Requests may be placed at the circulation desk, over the phone or may be placed online using our electronic database.
Microforms borrowed through Inter Library Loans must be read at the County of Lennox & Addington Museum and Archives.
Loan Periods
DVD's have a 1-week loan period, all othe materials have a 3-week loan period. . Items can be renewed over the phone, at the circulation desk or online, unless there are holds on the item for other patrons.
Fines
$0.25 per day fine on each overdue library material/item. Maximum of $10.00 per item. No charge for juveniles using juvenile resources.
